Looking for Activities on a Saturday Morning? Join STEMout in JP

Northeastern University

STEMout, our affiliated NEU student volunteer organization, is hosting a weekly STEM program at Jamaica Plains’ Boston Public Library ( 30 South Street, JP 02130), every Saturday morning from 10:30am-12:00pm. The age range of the program is 8-12 (3rd grade to 6th grade). No sign-up is needed and if you miss a session, no problem.

Dever Elementary – STEM Field Trips (10.6.2023)

Northeastern University

50 students from Dever Elementary School in Boston came to Northeastern to participate in STEM activities. The first activity the students completed was a reverse egg drop. The activity was a great hit! After lunch, students built paper rockets and launched them over Centennial. Time to launch the rockets!

Last Friday on January 27th, the Center for STEM Education welcomed Curley K-8 School to Northeastern University where they were able to learn more about rockets with AerospaceNU, Zombie Ants with Professor Henzy’s Lab and about the college experience at Northeastern University with the Center for STEM Education volunteers.
