Washington State LASER is hosting a FREE online workshop on integrating science in the elementary classroom. This session is for folks in Washington State only. (Sorry out-of-state friends.) See details below. I hope to see some of you there- I signed up today to be a participant.

When: Wednesday, March 20th 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Where: Zoom

Who: teachers, district and ESD leaders, school administrators, TOSAs, those who support elementary students and teachers, folks who train and support future elementary teachers, anyone who wants to help advocate for K-5 science.

What:

  • Explore high-leverage strategies to:
    • plan for mutually-supportive content integration in the elementary grades; and 
    • support your system’s teachers to provide every elementary students’ with equitable access to learning experiences centered in science.
  • View a  gallery of science-centered integration in action from around the state.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan specific next steps, contextualized to your own school system.
