It’s that time of year again! Time for aspiring artists to showcase their talents and creativity in the Open Science Week sticker design contest hosted by the Allen Institute. Judged by a panel made up of the education team and scientific staff, entries will be evaluated based on creativity, artistic skill, and alignment with the theme of celebrating team science and open collaboration in STEM. The winning design will adorn stickers distributed during the institute’s Open Science Week celebrations and educational events throughout the 24-25 school year, with the winner receiving a class set of stickers and an Allen Institute prize pack. Honorable mentions may be featured on the institute’s website.

The theme for this year is: Celebrating Team Science: the power of collaboration and sharing in science. Interested participants can submit their artwork, either hand-drawn on the provided entry form or digitally designed using a round template, by June 15, 2024. Teachers seeking entry forms for their classes can click HERE for more information. Below are images of stickers from the 2023 winners to provide some inspiration.
