The Museum of Flight has launched (get it?) a Spacesuit Design Challenge for K-12 students. The theme is “What will we wear in space?” Students must plan and draw their spacesuit and should be prepared to actually build their design. The Top 20 submissions will be invited to build their spacesuits and then to model their design in a spacesuit fashion show! Sounds like a cool design challenge to get students involved with.
