Enter The All About STEM Competition!
Open for entries: The All About STEM Competition! (Ages 9-16)
The All About STEM Competition, sponsored by Unilever aims to open up the world of STEM to young people across the North West by inviting them to ‘develop a new product, item, idea or approach which solves a problem facing our world or the people in it.’
And this year it’s all about FOOD!
We’re challenging learners to come up with solutions to food problems. This could be a new way to grow food, an innovative way to transport it to homes or those in need, they could design an eating aid or even a school canteen of the future …the options are endless!
Michelle Dow, Managing Director, All About STEM said, “The All About STEM Competition is the perfect way to celebrate and acknowledge our amazing young people’s abilities and showcase their innovative solutions to real-world problems. The entries we received in 2023 were phenomenal and it was brilliant to see learners take a spark of inspiration and develop that into a concept that can make a real difference.
It is a pleasure to partner with Unilever again to offer this competition across our region. They have supported our work for many years and have helped us reach thousands of young people.

The All About STEM Competition is open to learners aged 9-16 across the North West. Entries from teams or individuals are welcome whether entrants are at school, home or part of a community group. The competition website hosts a wealth of resources and ideas and school support is available.
The closing date for this year’s competition is Friday the 31st of May 2024 at 5 pm.
All About STEM is making it happen across the North West. We work on lots of different projects to bring exciting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to schools across the region, linking them with business and industry expert volunteers inspiring the next generation of STEM specialists.
