CREST Awards: FREE British Science Week Packs!
YES! The NEW British Science Week FREE activity packs have been released!
The British Science Association has created these packs in partnership with UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) to celebrate British Science Week. The theme for 2023 is ‘Connections’ and each pack provides fun and engaging activities to introduce this theme to children and young people.
British Science Week will take place from 10-19 March and it’s never too early to start thinking about your events and activities.
Fantastic Fingerprints Video
When you download the NEW British Science Week FREE activity packs you can access a step-by-step CREST Awards video for the ‘Fantastic Fingerprints’ project to find out how it works!
Students can become young forensic detectives and learn all about arch, loop and whorl prints. Find out if everyone’s fingerprints really are different.
British Science Week & CREST Awards
Many of the activities in the BSW packs are CREST accredited, so if you enjoy using them, why not think about running a CREST Award? CREST Awards give students real-life experience of being a scientist while getting introduced to STEM project work. They are nationally accredited and are a fun, yet educational way to get your children involved in STEM subjects.
