ESERO Primary: International Space Station Education Kit
The Primary ISS Education Kit, from ESA, is a resource for teachers with ideas on how to use the International Space Station as a theme for teaching a wide variety of topics.
The A4-sized printable kit contains four chapters devoted to explaining various aspects of life in space and what it’s like to live and work on board the International Space Station. Each chapter includes background information, worksheets and a teachers’ guide.
There’s a completion certificate for students too!
Chapters:
Introduction
1 – Being an Astronaut
2 – A Mission to Space
3 – On board the Space Station
4 – Living in Space
For Chapters 1 & 3, you could incorporate some of these fun clips of Tim Peake on the ISS!

All About STEM works on lots of exciting STEM projects. As part of the STEM Learning family, we manage the STEM Ambassador Hub in Merseyside, Cheshire and Warrington, working closely with the regional Science Learning Partnerships in Merseyside and Warrington and Cheshire and Wirral.
We also manage the STEM Enrichment Partnership for the North West which includes STEM Clubs, ESERO UK (Space) and Nuffield Research Placements.
