CREST Awards: Resources for STEM Clubs!
You will never be short of inspiration for your Science or STEM Club with fantastic projects from CREST Awards!
CREST helps young people aged 5-19 to become independent and reflective learners through enquiry-based project work.
CREST Awards are flexible and can be run in schools, clubs or at home. With no set timetable, projects can start whenever you want, and take as long as you need. Perfect!
CREST Star & Superstar: Complete 8 activities to earn a CREST Award – Ages 5-11
CREST Discovery Award: Can be completed in a day (5 hours equivalent) – Ages 10-14
CREST Bronze Award: 10 hours in total – 11+
CREST Silver Award: 30 hours in total – Age 14+
CREST Gold Award: 70 hours in total – Age 16+
CREST can be used in conjunction with other activities and schemes too, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Extended Project Qualifications (EPQs) and more!
There are also numerous, fun & interactive accredited activities & projects including Engineering in Motion (F1 in Schools) & The National Space Centre’s Rockets!
