Schools: FREE Sci-Tech Daresbury Open Week
Sci-Tech Daresbury Open Week happens once every four years and is a unique opportunity for schools to visit the innovative and inspiring Daresbury Laboratory here in the North West!
Daresbury Laboratory is one of three Research Council run National Laboratories where children will come face to face with staff including real scientists, engineers and technicians working in cutting edge facilities whilst experiencing world leading science and technology.
The last event provided unparalleled access for over a thousand students who were wowed by Sci-Tech Daresbury’s ‘behind the scenes’ tours, talks and workshops, and mesmerised by the diversity of activities in their hands-on science fair. This year Team Daresbury are going bigger and bolder, with 1,450 pupil places available and inspiring themed activities for children and young people from KS2-KS5.
