Super Bowl Football STEM Challenges and Activities for Elementary Students

Are you ready for some football?

Engage students during football season with STEM! Students design and create a Field Goal and Paper Football. Students compete and keep score with a fun game of Paper Football!

Material List:

  • Construction Paper

  • Pipe Cleaners

  • Straws

  • Tape

  • Scissors

  • Popsicle Sticks

  • Rubber Bands

  • Small Plastic Condiment Cups or Dixie Cups

Paper Football STEM Challenge is more than just a simple football craftivity. Students develop critical thinking and engineering skills.

Students plan, design, and execute their own ideas.

After they have completed their activity and game, there is time for reflection on what worked and what didn't.
