In the book The Three Little Tamales, Señor Lobo blows down the casitas of the first two tamales. However, the third tamale's casita is strong enough to protect them.

In this Read Aloud STEM Activity, students are challenged to build a casita (house) for the three little tamales strong enough to protect them from the Lobo (wolf).

After they have completed the challenge, students write a continuation of the story of The 3 Little Tamales.

From constructing sturdy casitas to outsmarting the mischievous chile pepper wolf, students will witness the magic that happens when STEM meets a flavorful fairy tale.
