Material List:

  • Non-Consumable Building Materials (Magnetic Tiles, Brain Flakes, etc.)

  • Cinderella printable (Included)

  • Binder clips

  • A version of Cinderella (optional)

In the classic tale of Cinderella, our heroine needs a magical way to get to the royal ball. In this Fairy Tale STEM challenge, students will put on their engineering hats to design and construct a carriage that could whisk Cinderella away to her grand evening. The goal is to create a carriage that is not only elegant but also sturdy and functional, ensuring Cinderella arrives in style and on time for her momentous occasion.

After they have completed the challenge, there is a writing extension for students to write a continuation of the story of Cinderella.

In this Cinderella STEM Challenge, you'll see the spark of imagination and the prowess of problem-solving as your students delve into designing carriages, overcoming obstacles, and ensuring Cinderella's timely arrival at the ball.
